DUBUQUE, Iowa. – Westminster wrestler Sean Sax placed first in the 149 weight class at the University of Dubuque Invitation on Saturday. Sax went 3-0 on the day and recorded a fall 58 second into the championship match to take first place.

Westminster also had Hunter Tessman place second in the 174 weight class. Dalton Landreth placed fourth at 141 and Will Harper placed fifth at 184. Brock Davis went 2-3 on the day to place sixth in the 133 weight class. 

The meet was the first of the season for Westminster. The Blue Jays will return to action next Saturday at the Lindenwood Open in St. Charles, Mo.
