Westminster Volleyball Rolls to Fifth Straight Win

FULTON, Mo. - Westminster volleyball adds its 10th win of the season and fifth straight in a 3-1 victory over Spalding.

The Blue Jays improve to 10-8 on the year, including 9-1 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Slowly, Westminster worked its way back into the game. A kill form Ashley Kistaitis finally tied the score at 20, and two more Kistaitis kills couipled with attack errors from the Eagles led to the set win for Westminster.

The Blue Jays came out strong in the next two sets to keep the match to just four sets, winning the next two 25-16 after going up by double-digits in both.

Both Hannah Marshall and Kistaitis earned double-digit kills, including 20 from Kistaitis. Marshall recorded 13. Kistaitis' 20 kill is second all-time in a four-set match.
