Volleyball Tabbed Second In SLIAC Preseason Coaches Poll

St. Louis, MO, August 25, 2021 – First year head coach Dalton Tucker and his 2021 Westminster College Blue Jays volleyball team have been tabbed to finish second by the league's coaches.  The Blue Jays are coming off of a 2020 season that saw them finish with a 13-3 overall record while finishing a league best 11-2 in SLIAC play.

The Blue Jays return five starters from last season. The five returning starters include SLIAC First Team All-Conference outside hitter Haley Menke (O'Fallon, MO / Fort Zumwalt West), SLIAC Second Team All-Conference setter Gretchen Durbala (Burlington, IA / Burlington) and outside hitter Eryka Wanyonyi (Columbia, MO / Hickman) and SLIAC Third Team All-Conference libero Erica Schrader (Imperial, MO / St. Pius X).

The Jays get their season started on Wednesday September 1st at 7:00 p.m. at NAIA Columbia College.  The results of the SLIAC Preseason Coaches Poll is listed below and a link to the official SLIAC release can be found HERE.
