Men's Track & Field Closes Indoor Season at Prin Multis

Westminster's junior Ryan Dyer made a new mark on the 800-meter run record at the indoor season finale. The Prin Multis hosted by Principia College did not keep team scores, but the five Blue Jay competitors went up against five teams.

Dyer reset the 800-meter record for the third time this season, putting his final mark on the record with a 2:04.89 time. He finished second in the race, followed by freshman Kole Rackers in third with a 2:09.11 time.

Senior Jesse Edwards and junior Glenn Teubner competed in the 3000-meter run. Edwards placed fourth with a 9:26.93 race time, and Teubner came in fifth with a 9:33.88 time.

Sophomore Logan Shoemaker was the only Blue Jay competing in field events. He threw shot put and finished in third place with a 12.61-meter throw.

The Prin Multis closed out the indoor season portion of track and field. The outdoor season begins on Saturday, March 19, at the Central Methodist Open.
