Men's Tennis Falls To Hendrix, 6-3, To Ozarks, 9-0

The Westminster men's tennis team left Hendrix College 0-2 with a 9-0 loss to the University of the Ozarks on Friday and a 6-3 loss to Hendrix on Saturday. The Westminster Blue Jays are now 1-3 on the season. 

On Friday versus the Ozarks, freshman Peter Hasenmueller went into a tiebreaker in the third seed, but lost, 6-2, 1-6, 10-7. The duo of Hasenmueller and Nate Connell also went into a tiebreaker in the double's two spot, but fell 9-8 (7-4). 

On Saturday, the team of freshman Adam Fuchs and Kyle Collins won in the third seed, 9-7. In singles play, Hasenmueller and sophomore Scott Strough won in their respective spots. Hasenmueller won in the four seed, 1-6, 6-3, 11-9. Strough won in the six spot with scores of 6-2 and 6-0. 

The Blue Jays will play Nebraska Wesleyan in Kansas City, Missouri next on Saturday, March 14, at 1:00 p.m.
