Nebraska Wesleyan Men's Tennis Squeaks Past Blue Jays, 5-4

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's tennis team squeaked past the Westminster Blue Jays on Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri, 5-4. The loss brings the Blue Jays to 1-5 on the season.

Three of the four Blue Jays' wins came from freshman Adam Fuchs and sophomore Scott Strough. The pair won in the two spot for doubles play with a score of 8-3. In singles play, Fuchs won in the two spot with scores of 5-7, 6-3 and 10-8, and Strough won in the four spot with scores of 6-0 and 7-6. 

Junior Kyle Collins won the last point for the Blue Jays with a tiebreaker win in the three spot (2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (11-9)). 

The Blue Jays will host Missouri Valley on Wednesday, March 18, for their home opener. They will begin play at 4:00 p.m.
