Madison Ingram and Mikala Guthrie swept the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week awards, winning Pitcher and Hitter of the week, respectively.
The paired helped the Blue Jays to four wins on the week, improving Westminster to 10-2 in the SLIAC.
Ingram added two wins, pitching 13 innings which included 11 scoreless. She allowed just two hits in two games and struck out a total of 12 batters.
Guthrie was nearly unstoppable at the plate, recording a .692 average on the week with one home run and six RBI. She recorded at least one hit and one RBI in all four games, including two three-hit games.
The Blue Jays take on nonconference opponent Lindenwood-Belleville Monday before continuing SLIAC play Wednesday at Fontbonne.
