Guthrie Named to NFCA All-Region Second Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Mikala Guthrie was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region Second Team for her play during the 2019 season.

Guthrie proved to be one of the team's best power hitters, posting a slugging percentage of .623 for ninth-best in the conference. Her .493 average on the year was the third-best in the league, as was her .544 on-base percentage.

She played a majority of her time at first base, appearing in 25 of the Blue Jays' 32 games.
