Fulton, Mo., March 29, 2021 - The Westminster College women's soccer team and forward Natalie Schulte are off to a hot start. The Blue Jays stand at 3-1 on the season and are the winners of three straight. The talents of Schulte, who is coming off of a career night against Blackburn College, were recognized by the conference as she was named SLIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Schulte, a senior, buried four goals during her team's 6-0 win over Blackburn. She netted her goals on 11 shots, putting seven on net. She recorded a natural hat-trick in the game, scoring three straight goals for the Blue Jays over a 29-minute span from late in the first-half to early in the second-half.
Schulte and the Blue Jays will be back in action on Tuesday on the road. The Jays will take on the Illinois College Lady Blues in Jacksonville, Ill. in a non-conference match-up at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night. The link to the video of the game can be found HERE.
