Blue Jays And Golden Eagles Play To Nil-Nil Draw

Louisville, Ky 10/14/2023- The Westminster College women's soccer team took on the Spalding University Golden Eagles in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday. The game would end in a 90-minute draw with neither team able to find the back of the net. It would be both teams' first draw of the season, with the Blue Jays moving to 4-6-1 on the season and 2-2-1 in the SLIAC. The Golden Eagles go to 3-6-3 on the year and 2-3-1 in the SLIAC. 

Westminster would take five shots in the game with four of them on goal. Spalding would take twelve shots in total with six of them on goal. The Golden Eagle keeper would make four saves and Blue Jay keeper, Megan Davidson, would make all six saves on the six shots she faced. 

The Blue Jays will be back in action on Tuesday, October 17th when they face off against Principia College at 8:00 pm from Elsah, Illinois.
