Fulton, Mo 10/10/2023- The Westminster College volleyball team was back in action Tuesday night when they welcomed Hannibal-LaGrange University to the Historic Gym. The Blue Jays would sweep the Trojans 3-0 (25-17,25-17,25-23) to win their third straight game. Westminster improves to 11-9 on the season. The Trojans fell to 4-16 on the year.
Katelynn Jackson would lead all attackers with ten kills. Meghan Nolte would have six kills in the game and Madisyn Ellis would also contribute five kills of her own. Braylee Montgomery had twelve assists in the match. Libero, Kirsten Schrader, would have a team high eight digs and five aces.
The Blue Jays will be back in action on Thursday, October 12th when they resume SLIAC and take on Fontbonne University. That game is set to begin at 7:00 pm inside the Historic Gym.
