Westminster Men's Basketball Falls to MacMurray

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. –Westminster men's basketball drops to 5-4 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play after a 115-104 loss to MacMurray.

The offense for both teams was on display in the first half with each team scoring 50 points. Westminster shot 59.46 percent (22-37) from the field, including 41.67 percent (5-12) from the three-point arc well the Highlanders shot 64.52 percent and went 6-12 on three-pointers.

The Highlanders started to pull away late in the second half and used a 10-2 run to take a 93-82 lead with 4:49 remaining. The Blue Jays were unable to close the gap and fell to the Highlanders 115-104.

Ethan Thompson was the leading scorer for the Blue Jays with 29 points followed by Landon Harrison with 26 and Emil Spriggs with 14. Omar Wright added 12 points off the bench,
