Fulton, Mo., March 5, 2021 - The Westminster College Blue Jay men's soccer team stayed on a roll this week winning two games and keeping their winning streak alive and well. The streak sits at five straight games won.  A big part of this weeks games has been the play of midfielder Freddy Nene.  Today he was recognized as the SLIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Nene, a sophomore, helped Westminster to a pair of wins last week. He was involved in three of his team's four goals in their 4-0 win over Princpia. Nene scored one goal and added two assists in the game. The midfielder also played well in a 2-1 win over Fontbonne to close out the week.

Nene and the Blue Jays will be back in action on Wednesday when they will visit Iowa Wesleyan University for a 1:00 p.m. kick off.
