Lindaman Breaks 10,000-m Record at WUSTL Invite

The Westminster men's track and field team competed in the two-day WUSTL Invite hosted by Washington University- St. Louis on Friday-Saturday, March 27-28. The Westminster Blue Jays tied for 22nd place out of 27 with five points. 

Senior Daniel Lindaman shaved almost 40 seconds off the previously held 10,000-meter record at the invite. He placed fourth out of 30 runners with his 32:57.11 time, earning the Blue Jay team their only five points. 

Freshman Glenn Teubner competed in the 5,000-meter run, finishing with a time of 16:59.49.

Senior Dan Breihan and sophomore Tj Tjikuzu rounded out the Blue Jay squad in the 400-meter dash. Breihan placed 32nd with a time of 54.46, and Tjikuzu finished in 40th with a time of 56.18.

The Blue Jay squad will be back in action on Friday, April 3, at the CMU Invitational hosted by Central Methodist.
