Blue Jay Sports Week in Review and Westminster Athletes of the Week

March 7-13

 

Baseball

Baseball is making up their rain-out doubleheader TODAY at 3:00 and 5:00 pm down at Saucier Field (LS available). The two games open up conference and divisional play for the Blue Jays. Tuesday, they head to St. Louis to close out the three-game series with Fontbonne (3:00 pm) (LS available). On Friday, they start their three-game series with Robert Morris with a single game at home starting at 5:00 pm (LS available). They play a doubleheader with RMU on Saturday starting at 12:00 pm (LS available for game one).

 

Softball

Softball travels to Coe College on Wednesday for a doubleheader starting at 1:00 pm (LS available). On Saturday, the Blue Jays host Grinnell College for a doubleheader starting at 3:00 pm (LS available). The team closes out the week with a home doubleheader versus Robert Morris on Sunday starting at 1:00 pm (LS available).

 

Women's Tennis

Women's tennis travels to Kansas City, Mo., for a neutral match with Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday.

 

Men's Tennis

Women's tennis travels to Kansas City, Mo., for a neutral match with Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday. On Sunday at 11:00 am, the Blue Jays play Illinois College.

 

Track & Field (Men's and Women's)

The men's and women's track & field team open their outdoor season on Saturday at the CMU Open hosted by Central Methodist!
