The Westminster volleyball team completed their second sweep over Eureka College with another 3-0 win on Tuesday, September 22. The Westminster Blue Jays have won three straight conference games, bringing their conference record to 5-2 and their overall record to 9-5.
The Blue Jays won the first two sets, 25-16, and closed out the match with a 25-13 win.
Sophomore Hannah Marshall led the team with 12 kills, and freshman Nikki Testerman chipped in 10. Junior Kayla Reeg led the team with 36 kills and added 17 digs to the mix. Freshman Bridget Ringwald led the court with 19 digs. Marshall and junior Amanda Kiso protected the net with three blocks apiece.
The Blue Jays finished the three sets with eight service aces. Three aces came from Marshall while freshman Micha Frasher and Reeg added two each.
Westminster is off until next Tuesday, September 29, when they travel to St. Louis, Mo. for a conference match versus Fontbonne. First serve is at 7:00 p.m.
