Volleyball Picks Up Two More Wins at Webster

The Westminster volleyball team picked up two more conference wins at Webster on Saturday to extend their winning streak to nine games. The Westminster Blue Jays defeated Webster 3-1. They then swept Fontbonne 3-0. They are now 15-5 overall and 11-2 in conference play.

The Blue Jays won the first two sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-21, but Webster topped them in the third set 25-19 to extend the match. They Blue Jays came back to win the fourth set 25-22, ending the match with the 3-1 win.

Sophomore Hannah Marshall led the game with 19 kills. Junior setter Kayla Reeg recorded 50 assists and 14 digs. Freshman libero also finished the match with 14 kills.

The Blue Jays went on to defeat Fontbonne in three, 25-17, 25-20, 25-16.

Marshall, freshman Nikki Testerman and senior Lexi Collier each recorded 11 kills. Reeg finished with 44 assists and Ringwald had 15 digs.

The Blue Jays look to continue their conference win on Tuesday, October 13, with a home match-up versus Greenville College at 7:00 pm. Greenville is currently undefeated in conference play and sits in the number one seed while Westminster is number two.
