Men's Soccer Moves to 4-0 in SLIAC

The Westminster men's soccer team shut out Eureka 2-0 on Saturday to remain undefeated in conference play. The Westminster Blue Jays are now 10-2 on the season and 4-0 in conference.

Junior Josh Jaycox scored the game-winning goal in the 41st minute off junior Peter Plakorus' assist.

Plakorus also assisted the second goal of the game as junior Tripp Sheehan scored in the 85th minute.

Junior goalkeeper Raul Belman (10-2) earned the shutout win in net. He recorded one save as he had limited action in goal.

The Blue Jays took 17 shots-on-goal throughout the 90 minutes. Sheehan and junior Drew Cook each had for shots-on-goal. 

The Blue Jays face Webster University on Tuesday, October 13, at Webster Groves, MO at 5:00 p.m.
