Hausman Named SLIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Westminster's Blake Hausman was named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on October 19.

Hausman, a sophomore defensive back from Columbia, Mo., picked up his second SLIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award this season by helping his team remain undefeated in conference play with two more wins last week. Hausman and the Blue Jays recorded two shutouts on the week, giving them three in a row and eight for the season. Hausman led a defense that allowed just nine total shots and only three shots-on-goal during the two wins last week. In addition he added two goals in his team's win over Webster.

The Blue Jays look to continue to stay undefeated in conference with their final away game of the regular season at Principia on Thursday, October 22. First touch is at 6:00 pm.
