FULTON, Mo. - With the 2019 fall season just weeks away, Westminster Women's Soccer Head Coach Wendy Sanchez has finalized her incoming recruiting class.

Name: Shannon Kauffman
High School: Park Hill
Position: Outside Back
Club: Kansas City Scott Gallagher
High School Accolades: Three-year letter-winner... Helped team win '17 and '18 District Championships... Helped team win Class 4 State Soccer Championship... Earned All-District Honorable Mention junior year... Lettered in academics freshman through senior year... Made honor roll all four years of high school.
Why she chose Westminster: I chose Westminster because when I visited the campus and the team, everyone was so nice and made me feel welcome. It was the first and only school I visited that made me feel like I was at home.

Position: Center Midfielder
Club: Sporting STL United-Landry
High School Accolades: First team all-conference 2019
Why she chose Westminster: I chose Westminster because I liked the feel of a smaller school with strong academics. Westminster will give me the opportunity to excel in both academics and athletics.

Why she chose Westminster: Because as soon I stepped foot on campus and met all the girls I knew I was right at home.

Why she chose Westminster: I chose Westminster because I felt at home walking on campus. Everyone is just so nice. Also, the campus is beautiful and the environment is very welcoming.

Why she chose Westminster: I chose Westminster because I wanted a small school and then when I visited, I fell in love with the campus and then met some of the girls from the soccer team and knew this was the right fit for me.

Why she chose Westminster: I chose Westminster because I loved the size of it and that you could get more one-on-one with the teachers. Plus all of the girls on the team acted like a family towards one another.
