1/21/25 Fulton, MO - The Westminster women's basketball team continued their impressive run, earning a commanding 81-44 win over Principia on the road. Westminster set the tone early, outscoring Principia 26-6 in the first quarter with strong defense and precise shooting. By halftime, the Blue Jays had built an overwhelming 51-16 lead, showcasing a balanced offensive attack and relentless energy on the boards. Senior forward Avylina Powell-Qualo recorded her 1,000th career point during the game, leading the Blue Jays to their sixth consecutive win.
Powell-Qualo led the charge with a game-high 21 points, shooting an efficient 10-for-18 from the field while contributing four rebounds and a steal. Annette Ramirez followed with 19 points, adding seven rebounds and five assists in a stellar all-around effort. Lauren Jones found her rhythm from beyond the arc, hitting 3-of-5 three-pointers to a 16-point performance.
