1/11/25 Fulton, MO - Westminster women's basketball team delivered a commanding performance on the road, overpowering Blackburn 95-43 in a one-sided contest. The Blue Jays showcased their offense and  defense, leaving no room for doubt about their dominance. 

The Blue Jays set the tone early, earning a 18-8 lead in the first quarter before exploding in the second. Westminster poured in 34 points in the second quarter, fueled by efficient shooting and relentless defensive pressure, entering halftime with a commanding 52-22 advantage. 

Westminster's balanced offense was the story of the game, with contributions from every corner of the lineup. Avylina Powell-Qualo led the charge with 14 points, adding four rebounds and five steals. Aly Bullock added a solid 12-point effort, complemented by four rebounds, four assists, and three blocks. Lauren Jones and Annette Ramirez chipped in with 10 points each, combining for five rebounds and four assists. Amonye Allen made her presence felt, pulling down 10 rebounds while adding four points. 

Westminster's depth was on full display, with all 19 players seeing game action. The Blue Jays will travel for their next matchup, facing Fontbonne University on January 15 at 5:30 p.m. Westminster will look to continue their strong play and extend their winning streak.
